Biophoenix is a biomedical consultancy with offices located
at Coventry (news |

Kenilworth (news |

castle) in the heart of England. We were established in 1994, within
Coventry University, but we now
operate independently. Some of our business was previously conducted
under the name of Cistron (from 1988).
Although we have other interests, our main
activity is the publication of management
reports. These concentrate on the strategic impact of new technologies
on human diagnostics and therapeutics. We have particular expertise in
genomics, the role of patenting in biotechnology, and the biomedical
applications of information technology. Prominent customers include
Genentech,
Johns Hopkins, and
Pfizer.
Our reports will likely interest business and academic clients who:
- are planning a move into new areas of business, for example medical
diagnostics companies looking at food or veterinary testing;
- wish to keep abreast of new technological or market developments
in their field;
- require custom or off-the-shelf market research in biotechnology;
- would like to explore the use of biomedical patents as sources of
business intelligence.
