Biophoenix is a biomedical consultancy with offices located at Coventry and Kenilworth (news | views | castle) in the heart of England. See below for addresses and map links. We were established in 1994. Some of our business was previously conducted under the name of Cistron (from 1988). We were originally based within Coventry University, but we are now independent of the University.

Our activities include technology assessments, market analysis, and market research. We specialise in the strategic impact of new technologies on human diagnostics and therapeutics. We have a particular interest in the role of patenting in biotechnology and the contribution of information technology, most notably the Internet, to healthcare communication, delivery, and marketing.

Our reports will be likely to interest clients:

• planning a move into new areas of business, for example medical diagnostics companies looking at food or veterinary testing;
• wishing to keep abreast of new technological or market developments in their field;
• requiring custom or off-the-shelf market research in biotechnology;
